There are three different ways to connect your phone to your PC to play games. You can use a standard Wi-Fi connection, a Wi-Fi direct tethering, or a USB cable. The gaming experiences are quite good even on the standard Wireless Wi-Fi connection, you can get a decent amount of FPS from this. The average FPS should stay above 20 which is fairly playable. Using the Wi-Fi direct tethering you could get better performances, and with the USB cable connection, you’ll have no trouble playing the games. One thing to keep in mind that your VR experiences on the Trinus VR will also depend on your system hardware, so make sure you have that well-covered before play with the app. One of the cool thing about Trinus Cardboard VR is that you can even use the app to play non-VR titles. Now, it won’t look as cool and responsive as games on the dedicated headset like HTC Vive or PlayStation VR, but it’s very fun to play with. On top of that, the developers have included tons of different preset for different systems to optimize your gaming experiences. And if you don’t find them helpful, you can always change the settings in the configuration panel. While it doesn’t deliver the best looking VR experiences, the Trinus VR is an excellent and easy-to-use app for VR beginners.
